David Schrader, organist and harpsichordist will present an organ 
concert as the first event in this season’s Simple Gifts Community 
Concert Series at Glenview Community Church, on October 7 . Mr. Schrader 
is on the faculty at Roosevelt University and organist at Church of the 
Ascension in Chicago. He will be playing a program including Bach, 
Franck, Buxtehude, and Dupre on the three manual, 69-rank pipe organ 
built by Jean-Paul Buzard in 1999. The church is located at 1000 Elm 
St., Glenview and has ample parking in the adjacent lot west of the 
building. There is no admission charge, but donations are gratefully 
accepted. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. and will be followed by a

(49 straight-speaking stops, 69 ranks, 3 manuals, completed in 1999).
