Hi all-
 
Back in the "Bach/Handel/Scarlatti" year, one of Chris Hogwood's
colleagues (can't remember who anymore) actually worked out and performed
this piece as a violin solo.  I know I heard it on a NPR recital program
at that time (I was doing a LOT of listening to the special radio
programs that year!).  In fact, I have a vague recollection that it may
have been recorded on disk as well, and maybe.......
