"These two mediums must learn to coexist . . ." seems not to be an
accurate statement of who must do what.
I like your questions, is it decent? etc. but I would add:  Does it
work, with the resources available and the intended liturgical and
esthetic goal.
I am reading Marva Dawn's "Reaching Out without Dumbing Down", and
recommend it very strongly to anyone who is grappling with this
"coexistence".
I sometimes wonder about the third commandment, about not taking the
Lord's Name in vain.  To me, putting holy things on bumper stickers, or
in the same medium as MTV, just might be vanity.
