No, Seb, I don’t think it’s “unreasonable” at all—but I do think it’s
counterproductive in many situations. Allowing young musicians to assist in
the worship services can be a win/win situation. As desperate as churches
are for organists, anything that encourages more people to study the organ
is a good thing.
