Do what I just did and e=mail the broadcast networks asking
them to please not talk incessantly during the actual funeral
service.  I told them that the people wanted to listen and
participate in the service not listen to them talk.
 
Maybe if enough people write to them they'll think twice.
 
It's worth a try isn't it?
