I use the Lilypond music typesetting program (a descendant of TeX) with a
browser/editor called 'Frescobaldi' .. it's rather similar to writing some
sorts of computer program, ie definitely not WYSIWYG. However you can
control virtually every aspect of the output if you look far enough into
the examples.
I guess it doesn't have a complete array of Baroque keyboard ornaments, but
what program does? ;)
BTW the IMSLP webpage does seem to be having some difficulty with their
tabs/anchors, you might have to scroll down to the section called
'Arrangements' and click on that.
Tom, which program do you prefer for editing?
