Maybe so in France. I read mostly online material from the UK, Ireland and
Italy, and as far as I can see Hantaļ gets recently a very significant media
coverage, other talented players IMHO much less so.

And by the way about this and other responses:

1) I am happy that the matter has produced so many responses, whether for or
against: this was precisely my purpose.

2) Some seem to suggest that in some way I belittle Hantaļ, although in my
post I specifically wrote that he is a deservedly top performer.

3) Others seem to read in my post just a list of top performers, which was
clearly not the case: they were clearly listed as a few well-known examples
of famous harpsichordists.
