All,
I wanted to let you know that we have a new video out, and this one is especially exciting for me, because it's the first recording in any form of Mark Janello's Concerto for Two. The work was commissioned by Aliénor and written for Elaine Funaro and myself. Some of you will remember the premiere in Montreal.
It's a joyous and yet thoughtful work, could only have been written in our time, but I'm completely certain that those of you who prefer music from an earlier era will find it quite scintillating. And fans of two-harpsichord music, take note, you'll want to get the score!
My husband Erik Ryding and our video crew did a fabulous job, and the instruments are my French double by Yves Beaupré and my Flemish double by Dominic Eckersley/Peter Fisk.
Enjoy!
