I just saw a ten year old kit whose liner seems partially unglued from
the case - mostly in the treble of the bentside (a gap of several mm),
but more or less along the cheek, the bentside and the tail (1mm or
less) . Of course, everything glued with modern glue.
How could such an instrument be salvaged? Is there a type of glue that
could repair these failures (a glue that doesn't need the remains of the
old glue to be removed)?
Thanks for any advice.
Dennis
