Yes, indeed.  Here in the Bay Area of California, they want to make 
fireplaces illegal for environmental reasons.  Good thing that 
harpsichords don't give off greenhouse gases!

(On the other hand, lighting a fire next to a harpsichord or clavichord 
isn't REALLY the best idea, is it, if only considering the tuning . . .
