I know 1 piece by L. Couperin, in f# minor, a pavan. But I don't think there is any direct evidence about how LC would have tuned for this piece, so I don't think we can say that he was "deliberately exploiting the incorrectness".

Common practice I am sure. As to what Froberger typically had for dessert,
refer to Rosenthal, 1996. J.J. Froberger in Vienna predates Sachertorte by
200 years, sadly, so it can't have been that.
Getting back ion topic (!), aren't there some pieces by L. Couperin in F
sharp minor, for meantone instruments, deliberately exploiting the
incorrectness?
