Now lets see:
French protestant musicians fleeing to German states performing with Georg Bohm?..
French oboists and flautists playing in Dresden and other court music ensembles
Muffat studying with Lully
Marchand playing on tour through out Germany.  
Froberger's Parisian stays

Seems as if the sound of notes inegales would be easily known by Bach.  
Would the Germans be MORE subtle than the French?  This would be a first!!!
Does it mean that allemandes written as strings of dotted 8ths and sixteenth notes are a way of notating inegales?    Lots of good questions to be posed.
