Mein Gott in Himmel! What was I thinking? I meant to say CA glue for ivories, not contact cement.

I'm no expert but Titebond and other brands sell liquid hide glue you can use directly from the container. I have successfully used it for gluing a set of keyfronts to the keys of a muselaar with no need for clamps.
