I do not find it good to name a young player, who perhaps will improve
hopefully.
But my main reason is consistency: I have in the past observed that
colleagues lists, IMHO, should NOT be a forum for performance reviews, for
otherwise we would soon have terrible quarrels when one list member
criticises negatively a public performance of another one. It has already
happened a few years ago, many members will remember this incident.
(Incidentally, the performance was excellent and the criticisms absolutely
unfounded.)
CONVERSELY, when somebody is as old as myself, is an international figure
and is not a member of this list, and the evidence is there for anybody to
hear, I am ready to make an exception.
