Do yourself a favor and list it on eBay and Craigslist - unless you want to give some money away for nothing. What is your asking price?

It was insured for many years through Clarion Insurance, but we dropped Clarion’s insurance when my wife stopped hauling the harpsichord around to gigs a couple of years ago. My plan is to show it off at the upcoming Berkeley Early Music Festival and then consign it to the tender mercy of the Harpsichord Clearing House (HCH) in Massachusetts. HCH wants it insured while they have it and we’d like to have it covered while in transit from Anacortes, WA to Calif to Mass. We talked to Clarion, and they don’t want to cover it if the ultimate plan is to sell it. My homeowner’s policy will cover it for fire and theft but not if it is being played outside the house.
