Interesting indeed, normally comparisons A-B are separated in time during overhauls etc. Making recordings while keeping other parameters equal is fussy business, so thanks to Dominic for having gone through all that. The bridge- and nutpin issue is mostly about using the softest brass rod available, which indeed does do a lot for cleaning up the resultant tone. Thanks again to Paul Y. Irvin who published about this earlier.
