I apologize, Claudio, for bringing up issues that have already been
discussed on this list. However, I am a fairly new member, and was simply
responding to a new message regarding equal temperament.

Of course. Btw., this has been fully discussed in the recent past in the
list.

temperament until into the 20th century.

Jorgensen's ideas about the matter were shown to be pure fantasy by
different scholars, for example read Fred Sturm

All the temperament scholars I have been in contact with (such as our Ibo
Ortgies, Mark Lindley, Patrizio Barbieri) share Sturm's criticisms about the
late Jorgensen's fantasies.

This has ALSO been fully discussed in this list, not long ago.
