Good morning!

Some of you may have seen my posting on the Facebook group, but if not, I'd
like to share this new video of Soler's Sonata in A Minor, R.118. For most
of my career I've sadly neglected the sonatas of this distinctive composer,
but happily a Spanish music week in New York last fall inspired me to
explore them, and now it's become something of an obsession!

I should also add that my Italian by Yves Beaupre after Leipzig no. 89 is a
late Florentine of the type that may have influenced the Spanish builders
of Soler's time, so it's wonderfully suited to this flamboyant music.

Enjoy!
Rebecca
