Maybe the reason behind calling this scale "long" is reference to the only Mietke instrument with original scaling (to my knowledge), in Hudikswall in Sweden, which has c2 at 275mm. I heard that Charlottenburg Mietkes don't have original bridge positions, but never really investigated that. If anyone have information on that please share with us.
