> Ibo wrote: ... pedals with low B, C#, Eb,

Dear Ibo, now that, hopefully, we agree to disagree, and deeply, I will not
pursue this line of reasoning, full of arguments that are behind my
comprehensions. However, there is still a fundamental question that has not
been answered.

Bach in the WTC and in his organ works wrote bass notes that, according to
your arguments were unplayable:

(a) WTC pieces with pedal notes, because to play them in the organ was held
"unprofessional".

(b) Organ pieces with C#, Eb because they were not regularly found in Bach
organs, even less so for the never-found BB.

The inevitable question is then: why did JSBach wrote these notes?
In other wards, what did Bach want his player to do?

(If your argument is that it was paper music, not meant to be played, you
have world-renowned Bach scholars that think otherwise, e.g. Ledbetter.
So I guess you have another explanation. )

Best

Claudio
