Given my contention that Minuets 1/2 sound fine on harpsichord 
without adding any notes beyond prolonging some, we shall have to 
agree to disagree.  In my view, the big difference between the 
original (both on cello and harpsichord) and what you have done is 
that the original dances, as do the minuets from the French Suites 
with their almost exclusively two-part texture.
