Hi all,
My housemates and I got to meet Joe Gascho when he played a
MusicSources concert this spring -- hi Joe!
Your new harpsichord workshop sounds great, what a great combination!
Somewhere in the workshop description, it says you have a suggested
tuning/regulation tool kit to assemble -- could you tell us your
suggestions?
After wanting to go for years, I got to attend 2013 and 2014
harpsichord workshops at UM, from Ed Parmentier -- The campus setting
is lovely (one twilight I sang a recitative to two deer, on my way
walking back to dorm from music building, and when I reveranced them,
they looked at each other), the music department folks are very
friendly and supportive.

Subject: New Harpsichord Workshop at the University of Michigan
I'm delighted to let you all know about a new workshop I'm leading
together with harpsichord builder/tuner/technician Barbara Wolf
June 8-12 in Ann Arbor, MI. It is designed for players and those
wanting to learn more about taking care of their instruments, and
it's possible to bring an instrument that you'd like to work on during
the workshop. We still have a few open spots, so we're extending
the deadline, please check out this website for more information:

Hope to see some of you there!
Joseph Gascho
Assistant Professor of Music
