Thanks very much, Davitt!  That's a good endorsement, and thanks for sharing your knowledge about them. The original sources, especially the ones in full color scans online, with all their bizarre and beautiful calligraphy, are lovely. Hopefully the MS in private hands will in the not too distant future be reproduced at least. 
I subscribe to the principle that one can never have too much Froberger, it's such fascinating music. The polyphonic organ pieces are not often played by harpsichordists, which is a shame because they can work very well; but like the rest of his music they need a little insight and coaxing to yield their beauties.
OK, I sprung for the set. That'll be a few weeks of playing through.
