Peter Redstone says he needs a conversion table but has a metric/imperial 
tape measure - that IS a conversion table - you just have to be careful with 
the zeroes.

And yes the soundboard grain direction is diagonal.

And yes Howard did draw the framing - what little there is of it: 2 lower 
level frames perpendicular to the spine and a tail brace below the liners.
