I'd add as evidence that his playing of the 3rd  Frescobaldi Toccata (Tk.1)
is extremely accomplished.  For me, worth the price of admission
alone.   What it accomplishes is to make each note sound as though it
belongs where it is -- a question of masterly control of rhetoric and agogics.
