Hi Bruce,

All things being equal, I have to say that I agree with Peter about this topic. The factor when everything else is the same is the Young's modulus of the wire and I think that is pretty much the same for the various wires here. Having said that, I don't have the actual figures, so I am guilty of guessing. But it is this factor that is in play here.
