With all due respect, if so many list members think that you're out of 
your mind, then either you are, in fact, out of your mind, or you're 
not explaining your position very well. Either way, there is fault with 
you, and references to flat earthers are not helpful.

Let me try to explain what I think your position is.

(1) The ear hears only complete wave cycles, not fractional ones. 
(Andrew says this is an odd idea, but let's run with it for a minute)

(2) At 415 Hz, there are 415 complete cycles in a second.

(3) But 415.3 Hz ends with a fractional cycle.

What I do not understand is what is magical about a second. What 
happens if the tone lasts longer than a second  - in practice, for 
tuning purposes, most tones do last longer. This is where your position 
makes no sense to me.
