Dear list members,

some time ago I made a trip to Schloss Pirna in Germany. There I played the
Graebner 1739 harpsichord and was thrilled!
I have tried to find a drawing for that instrument or enough technical data
to make a drawing myself in order to be able to build a "copy".
No chance. Neither do they have a drawing at the Leipzig university nor
could I find one anywhere else.

I know that John Philips made a number of copies of that instrument and did
a lot of research on the surviving Graebner instruments.
And I know that Martin-Christian Schmidt from Rostock, Germany, also did a
lot of research on the Graebner 1739. After he died all his stuff went to
Leipzig university. But they have it all stored somewhere and have no
capacities to look at it.....

Could anyone help me to get (hold of) a Graebner 1739 drawing? Or at least
enough measurements or data so I can make a drawing by myself?

Best wishes from VERY hot Germany (36 degrees C)
Rainer
