I have never been able to use a tuner's listening powers in preparing an instrument for concert.  There is always too much noise around for it to decide what pitch it is hearing.  My 25 year old Korg tuner has served me well by giving me a reference pitch to listen to as I bring a string into unison with it.  My tuner only responds to or produces notes on an equally tempered scale but I can adjust each note individually to deviate from equal temperament by the number of cents required to achieve the temperament I want.  I understand the Korg OT-120 has eight different temperaments already preset and has provisions to allow you to set two additional temperaments and keep them stored in the tuner.



I am interested in buying a tuner to leave with the harpsichord owned by my church so that others can keep the harpsichord in good tune in my absence.  I was reading the specs on the OT-120 and thought it to be a good answer, but I have yet to have one to try out.  So I, too, am looking for information.
