Just a reminder that we are here to discuss early keyboard instruments and music, NOT politics.  I understand there are very strong feelings out there, but given the current political environment, this has the potential to take over the list.  So, let's keep on our topic.  There is plenty of room elsewhere for political rants and concerns.

Also, please, PLEASE remember to REMOVE the quote of the previous posting when you reply to a post!  The repeated stuff is not necessary--ESPECIALLY when someone thoughtlessly repeats the whole previous day's digest!  Our archive space is not unlimited, and is provided at the courtesy of the University of Iowa.  Not only does this waste storage space, it also makes the archives much more cumbersome to work with.  I have mentioned this repeatedly over the years, yet the problem persists.  PLEASE, delete the quote!
