I have never saw a harpsichord in my life. But I love its voice.

I am an HI-FI hobbyist and I read less than thousand pages on the subject.
I love lutes also.

When talking about loudspeakers, people tend to describe how was the
instruments felt located in front of speakers. They call it scene.

I found interesting and old technology which was about putting an
diffractive grating in front of speakers and create better scene. I know
the diffractive gratings from optics and they put diffractive grating in
front of monochrome camera to photograph spectrums of objects . And I know
diffractive gratings works with sound wave phases and some cancel each
other, some power up each other.

Scene is interesting technology , you feel cymbals comes from one distance
and drums other.

Now, finally, do harpschord , lute rosettes been made to create each notes
scene ?
