Indeed, it's also called the English disease. Cocky cheeks! 
The book is beautiful and informative. Some things are left to be desired. I would have loved to see some data on prices of the Kirkman harpsichords for instance. Also, the Amerongen 1766, which is virtually in original state, is not included somehow.
