Hi Chris,
Ah yes, the Hubbard scaling problem. One way we deal with that is to lower
the pitch to A 392. But I acknowledge that may not be workable for all
situations. Other than that, you could string the overly long treble in a
modern wire such as Roslau. Not ideal., but compromises will have to be
made. Cognoscenti will squirm about Roslau, but the average listener won't
notice.
