Dear Anne
There’s no detailed photo in the original 1960s Zuckermann Spinet manual of the music desk arrangement. The rack itself was supported by the music rack wedge (15 x 1.5 x 1” tapered) which was originally glued flush with the top of the nameboard, sloping down towards the tuning pins. You would have to remove the nameboard to tune the spinet. The later manual suggested hinging the wedge to the top of the nameboard so it could be simply folded over to tune, and two brass butt hinges were supplied.
Regards
CB
