Red brass seems unlikely. The thinnest diameter normally supplied by 
MRose is 0.36, though I suppose he could draw it thinner if someone 
really wanted it. Phosphor bronze is more likely. Beryllium copper is 
also a possibility: and it has its advocates. I believe it looks similar 
to phosphor bronze.
