given C's Title, it seems to me that there is a reason for writing in f
minor, and that meantone was intended, not fudged. Wide thirds? What
about the all-important augmented 2nd f-g#, the interval that makes f
minor f minor. Otherwise there would be no reason using that key as
opposed to any other minor key, all of which are the same save for f
minor. In meantone. The choice of f minor points first and foremost to
meantone as the assumed basis.
