Does nobody at all think this is of significance? Perhaps not – looking at the starting prices for what seem to me to be valuable instrumemts in the catalog they are in general almost laughably low (except perhaps the Antunes instrument).

There was massive hue and cry when the V&A dispersed their collection. Almost total silence about Finchcocks. Strange times methinks.
