'Allo - Tonight's mail brings an enquiry from the Midlands about
a plausible price for a 1960 instrument by Chiasson. The writer
mentions that it came from his "estate;" 'tho I find no death date
given in Palmer's book, I suppose that means that the builder is
no longer living.

The instrument's described as "the one he kept for himself," which
may mean it's the one played on a celebrated occasion reported by
Hal Haney and cited in a Palmer footnote [p.184, #2] as "...his own
'monster' named 'Penthesilea' Queen of the Amazon[s]."

Is Chiasson dead? Can anyone describe this instruments in terms
other than those used by Wolfgang in his fabled Book? How on earth
would one arrive at a price for such an Historic Object?
