Is there any report of Professor Moroney's subjective state in the
minutes and hours following the Event? Did he treat himself to
something that evening? Did he cross the Seine walking along the
parapet - tapping? Did he do that Gene Kelly thing of twirling round
the lamppost? was it raining? did the sun rend the cloud bank to pierce
him with a ray? Did he hear a ghostly tumult of voices rendering
snatches of the Striggio mass for him alone?

I wonder what's the next grail on his list?
Or other bilbio(theque)philes among us? - we have 'bibliophile', but
what would be the word for a lover of Libraries?

Can we construct a top 10 of lost works?
I can only think of OT things, like Joe Liebling's interview with
Louis-Ferdinand Céline
