Hi Dan, 
Try Venta "cubes". 
We, and hps makers I know, and colleagues used them for years and don’t want to change any more. 
I tried different ones, which lasted generally 2 seasons. But these ones last years and years. No vapor. Very natural, effective and healthy, for humans as well as for harpsichords or whichever instruments. And, finally, not expensive at all.
