Hi Vincent,
I visited Hal once at his home in Denver where he had a party to welcome Igor Kipnis - great place - harpsichrds in every room. I’m not sure if I saw this one or not, but you may find some mention of it in Hal’s magazine “Harpsichord" which he published for several years in the 70’s. I still have many of the issues - I’ll take a look and let you know if I see anything.

Hi,
I have purchased an anonymous virginal awhile back. As it turns out it was Hal Haney's virginal which he built, using hubbard jacks. However, I cannot find any info concerning this virginal, what year, and which kit did he build it from. He did not leave any writing on the instrument, and certainly no strining chart or instuctions. Those who still remembered Hal and him playing the virginal perhaps can give me some information about the instrument? It is a pentagonal C/E-F"'.
