dear list members,

another fantastic harpsichordist left the scene a few days ago, only
at the age of 56 years.

Nicolau, a very brilliant and energetic player, was born in Sao
Paulo, moved to Geneva to study with Christiane Jaccottet, K.
Gilbert, G. Leonhard and Scott Ross, gained various prices at
harpsichord competitions and conducted baroque opera. You'll find
his version of Solers Fandango on YouTube...
Our ways haven't crossed for quite a while, so I may have missed
details, others might be able to contribute.

Dietrich
