It was perhaps good to get a reminder that behind all that is a living person who has dedicated her life to doing things the way she does, just as the rest of us. It is sometimes difficult to make distinctions: I might disapprove of a style of playing and whap, the person seems a bad person to me as well. That's of course nonsense. I, too, have been visiting more youtube links with her playing and am, at least, impressed by the scope of stuff she seems to be doing. I remain no fan of that over-voiced sound of her harpsichord and her hard and far-from-the-keys technique, no matter how big the tent, and I feel it is not wrong to say so.
That said, if you really want the snarkery and near-flaming to stop, this passage:
"...who might be bored silly by the Apollonean approach favored by those who are dishing out so much opprobrium" is in my opinion a very poor start.
