May we kindly bring to your attention the second edition of the International Geelvinck Fortepiano Symposium on 19th October in Amsterdam.

The symposium focusses on the historically informed performance on early keyboards. In addition, it relates to working collections of historic pianos and its preservation issues.

The symposium is an integral part of our Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival from 12th till 30th October with over 40 chamber concerts performed on historic pianos, as well as an international competition for professional young talent on fortepiano and square piano, masterclasses and a call for new compositions for square piano and early fortepiano.
