Well, over here in Australia the toolshop market is flooded with very cheap Asian power tools, most of which are OK in their own way, but don’t expect them to last too long. You can pick up a heavy duty router very cheap. Similarly, at our local hardware chains here, router tables can be had for next to nothing. I am not talking about pro tables with every adjustment and cast iron tables. But good enough. Your main expense would be the custom cutter.
