Hi all,
I am probably opening myself up for ridicule here, but as I am quilling a double instrument with crow quills and have also a bunch of secondary feathers, I was wondering if I might use some them for at least the upper part of the 4’ register. They are definitely smaller. But I was using them to practice on before starting to use up primaries on the 8’ registers and they seem quite usable for smallish plectra.
Is there something that might be more likely to go wrong with them over time?
Any comments or advice would be very welcome.
Thanks,
Tom McGreevy
