I'm not sure this is actually the case. Because minor keys tend to use 
good major thirds in flat keys, but bad thirds in sharp keys (at least 
in their dominants).

(Which is why there are more harpsichord pieces in c minor  - a French 
suite, a Partita - than in f# minor, for instance.)
