HI Jan and Paul,

Would you call 295mm 'long'? Although long and short are subjective terms,
Denzil Wraight, at least, calls 270-290mm 'short' (
http://www.denzilwraight.com/pitch.htm) . Consequently I am unclear as to
why the maker you refer to Paul uses the term 'long brass scaling'.
