Hello there,

I had been read an article at scientific american , one of the luthier had
been invited to build a harpsichord for Johann Sebastian Bach House or
Church and he graduated the soundboard with directing it to the bright
sunlight and equal the dark and light areas with removing the wood. He
reports result was excellent.

Is it accepted method now ?

Best,
