Further to my post regard the down side of this material, it still
reacted to water based paints as well as oil based one. It really will
really offer you problems with oil based paint and I shall be interested
if anyone has answers from other mediums. I now use an eco paint made
in Germany by Aglaia and am finding it very good indeed, they give you
information on how to get all colours from their primary colours but
alas, red are a problem. The best red they have is pure red oxide,
though a beautiful harpsichord colour it is more a terracotta. I do
apologise if this is a bore but it may be of some help to some.
